Safari Birthday Party Part 6: Night Time Safari Game

One day when the Girlie Safari was still in the development stages in my mind, I came across these little bad boys at my local dollar store...

Now those would be fun for a night time safari.  Well our home has a room with no windows and it gets pitch black in there and so the night time safari game was born.  Each child will get their own personalized safari lantern.

We will then be using the lanterns in the pitch dark room with these animal silhouette shapes as shadow puppets.

We have already done a few dry runs of this safari game and it is a blast.  My girls have loved picking the different animals and watching them grow and shrink. I can't wait until there are a bunch of little shadow safari animals running around the walls.
