Safari Birthday Party Part 7: Supply Station

The big bash went down yesterday and might I say, it was quite fun.  When the kids arrived to the girlie safari birthday party, they first headed over to the Supply Station.  There they picked their safari pith hat, binoculars, safari journal and bag.  The kids added their name to the name plate on their journals and drew pictures of themselves on a safari while we waited for everyone to arrive.

The girls hats were decorated with zebra fabric and a turquoise flower and the boys just had plain pith hats.

The binoculars were made using toilet paper rolls.  I painted the ends black and wrapped them in animal print paper.  I wrapped a black painted rectangle piece of Styrofoam in black paper and glued it between them so that they would be spaced enough apart.  It was beyond cute to see the little ones holding them up and looking through them at all the animals.
