Safari Birthday Party Part 8: Food

There is no getting around it. I LOVE FOOD. However, I did learn from the Butterfly Tea Party that I can't do everything.  I decided to focus on things that were easy to make and didn't require a lot of prep work.

The dessert table for the Girlie Safari Birthday Party. The cake was purchased at Costco and I made some "brownie bites" the night before.  All I did was made a brownie mix and put it in a mini muffin tin to bake. Then I topped the brownies with a few mini marshmellows and put them under the broiler for a few seconds. Drizzle some chocolate, yada yada, yada.

Candy jars for the take-out boxes.  I tried to think of creative names for them but I ran out of brain power after "safari snacks".

Onto the Safari Party food.  We had a little lunch for everyone after the Safari.  The kids first came over around 10:00 am and we had the safari activities and games then all the adults arrived around 12:00 pm for "Grub". We served a pulled pork sandwich, home-style Mac & Cheese, fruit, veggies, brownie bites and cake.  Overall it went really well and was delicious.
