I am jumping back to my Disney/Travel posts to share the shirts I made for my family when we went to Disneyland.
For my girls, my sister-in-law and I came up with a rolled pleated minnie mouse that we glued onto black shirts with fabric glue. We employed a similar method as I used in my fabric brooch tutorial here but made it looser.
We added a pink and white polka dot bow that matched the bubble skirts we had for them. My husband really wanted a similar shirt but I convinced him to go with a more vintage looking grown-up version instead.
I based my design off of this old school Disneyland sign.
I cut out the image on white heat transfer for his shirt and mine and then made a small blue one for my little baby boy's white onesie.
