Disney Golden Books Into Coloring Books

My anniversary gift from my husband was a bind-it-all or as he calls it, one-thing-to-bind-it-all.  So I combined my new gift with my current excitement for Disneyland to make these Disney Golden Books Coloring Books.  They are made from old golden books from the thrift store and filled with copy paper cut to size.

Each of my girls will get one on the ride to Disneyland for all their coloring pleasure. I found the easiest way to cut the covers was to first pry them away from the story book pages, remove the staples and then cut off the spine with a rotary cutter.

There have been many a crafting tool that I have purchased and been disappointed in or have found that I don't use it as much as I thought I would.  The bind-it-all is certainly not one of them! I am surprised by how much I like it and how many different things I can do with it!  I am currently brainstorming different ideas for Disneyland Autograph books. Can you tell that I am excited for Disneyland!!
